When you are decided to pick a black leather bar stool, sometimes termed counter stool, either of a wood finish, a contemporary chrome finish, or a black metal finish to go with your existing bar top, then you already know that a black leather bar stool will be an elegant and classy complement to your kitchen or bar area. Counter Stools Kitchen
Full height bar stools

Why are these heights chosen? Secondly, it will be possible to prepare breakfast food or drinks on a bar top, even though the 40 inch surface height is a bit high for that purpose. Usually, the food can be prepared from the one side of the bar top while consumed from the other.
A counter stool proper
A counter top height is about 36 inches, or about three feet. For an average height American, this is a good size for food preparation. And when one wants to eat breakfast at the counter, the appropriate height of the breakfast stool seat is 24 inches or so, which is termed the counter stool height. For busy people, this is a great choice of height: The food can be prepared and consumed in the same space, and it can be consumed either sitting up or standing down on a modern counter stool. Lots of choices, and no hassle with setting up another table when in a hurry.
Adjustable height stool - from bar height to counter height
Typical adjustable height counter stool will readily adjust between the counter height of about 24 - 25 inches to 29 - 32 inches or so bar height. This will allow a stool like that to be used at the bar top, as well as at the counter top, which will add to its choices. While the bar stools and the counter stools are available in both metal or chrome or wood finish, an adjustable height stool is usually only available in the chrome finish or a stainless steel finish as these are the only ways the single foot of a stool can be made height adjustable. That single foot contains a pneumatic mechanism that uses compressed air to lift the seat surface upward and uses the person's own weight to lower the stool surface downward.
When such an adjustable height stool will fit in your home, you have just gained in flexibility and saved some space too.
